Our beautiful city, Barcelona, has recently been awarded eighth place in the international classification of the world’s best city, while in Europe it ranks in third place, behind London and Paris.
The ranking, entitled World’s Best Cities, was compiled by the company, Resonance Consultancy, which analysed and compared 23 factors in each city.
According to the consulting company’s report, this is the most comprehensive classification of cities in the world as it is based on an original methodology that draws on the opinions of both visitors and locals.

“The colourful neighbourhoods pulse with an alternating beat of edginess and sophistication. Miles and miles of beaches and iconic parks are in symbiosis with the idyllic year-round weather, which facilitates dining alfresco at all the perfectly inviting cafés,” Resonance Consultancy states.
