Collserola I Barcelona Des Del Tibidabo

Barcelona has many magical places where you can enjoy the best views of its streets, the sea and the mountain. Below are five unbeatable spots in the city where you can go to discover the city from above.

The MNAC terrace

The National Art Museum of Catalonia has two terraces that are perfect for enjoying a different view of the city. Located on the rooftop of the National Palace, exclusively for visitors to the museum, they offer stunning views of the city skyline. From them you can see the Sagrada Familia, Agbar Tower, the twin towers of the Olympic Village, Albéniz Palace, the port, the Olympic Ring and the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc, to name a few.

Tibidado Mountain

From Tibidabo amusement Park, located at 500m above sea level, you can get a bird’s eye view of virtually the whole city. Set at the top of the mountain of Collserola, not only can you discover Barcelona, but you can also see how the city stretches out to the neighbouring towns of Hospitalet, Badalona and Montgat.

Montjuïc Castle

At the top of the mountain of Montuïc is one Barcelona’s most famous landmarks, Montjuïc Castle, a magnificent vantage point from which to enjoy the city. This former military fortress located right above the port is today one of the best spots to enjoy the city’s views. There are also lots of activities available all year round, making a visit to the castle a must.

Collserola Tower

Collserola Tower, designed by the prestigious architect, Norman Foster, offers its visitors the highest views over the city, at 560 metres above sea level to be precise. On the tenth floor there is a glass viewpoint which is accessible by lift, and from which you can enjoy 360º views far beyond the city. There is an entrance fee to the tower.

Glòries

From Glòries at street level and from the Barcelona Design Museum you can enjoy privileged views of the Sagrada Familia, Tibidabo and Collserola, as well as the Diagonal Mar district, a new part of the city.
